A warm welcome to all of our LCM Dance Academy students!
Miss Emily Kelly is one of our talented and passionate dance instructors at LCM Dance Academy. Her journey in dance began at just three years old, and she has been training under the guidance of our principal, Miss Lucy, since the age of seven.
Emily has had the opportunity to attend workshops with the prestigious English National Ballet, experiences that helped shape her strong technical foundation and deepen her love for the art form. Over the years, her dedication and talent have led her to perform in two professional pantomimes at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, and she was cast in a lead role with the English Youth Ballet—where she starred as the lead role in the ballet Giselle, a great achievement that highlights her performance ability and classical training.
During her time as a competitive dancer she qualified for the National Dance Finals two years in a row and completed all her ISTD ballet exams with distinction, along with modern and tap. Her dance experience spans a wide variety of styles including ballet, tap, modern, street, national, contemporary, commercial, rock and roll, disco, and acro—giving her a broad and versatile understanding of dance. Her diverse background allows Emily to bring a unique, well-rounded approach to her teaching—blending strong technique with creativity and expression.
At LCM Dance Academy, Emily teaches our Junior Jazz classes, where she nurtures young dancers’ skills in a fun and supportive environment. She also assists Miss Lucy in our Acro Dance classes, where her background in strength and flexibility training brings an exciting dynamic to the studio.
We’re proud to have Miss Emily on our teaching team, inspiring the next generation of dancers with her passion and dedication!
