




MEET MISS LUCY, PRINCIPAL AND FOUNDER OF LCM DANCE

Miss Lucy started dancing at the age of 3 and has extensive experience in RAD training. Lucy was selected to attended the 'The Royal Ballet School' Senior associate program in Covent Garden, London for three years at the age of 14. Lucy went on to train at Ballet West Scotland in Classical Ballet and graduated with a 1st in her BA (Hons) Professional Dance Degree. Lucy is a qualified teacher with the Association of Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD). She has competed nationally and internationally, making it to the finals of the 'BBC Young Dancer' 2018 and the finals of the 'Genee International Ballet Competition' in Hong Kong in 2018.
Additionally, Lucy has performed in many productions as a professional dancer including 'The Nutcracker', 'Swan Lake' and 'Giselle' touring Scotland 2017. Lucy was invited to Galway-Ireland as the Principal Guest Artist portraying the Sugar Plum Fairy dancing the Grand pas de deux. However, her passion has always been teaching and Choreographing. She is enthusiastic about sharing her passion and knowledge of dance with students of all ages and levels, fostering a welcoming and inspiring environment while maintaining the discipline necessary for this demanding art.
Lucy has taught at many dance schools throughout the years, entering and preparing students for ISTD and Royal Academy of Dance exams with a 100% pass rate. It has always been a dream of Lucy's to have her own Dance School, and after many years of teaching it was finally time to bite the bullet! Lucy now wishes to create an inspiring and nurturing environment for upcoming dancers.

MEET MISS ELISE
Lyrical, RAD Ballet, Tap, Acro & Musical Theatre Teacher

Elise brings a wealth of professional dance training, performance experience and teaching knowledge to LCM Dance Academy. Having danced since the age of five, she has developed a strong technical foundation and extensive knowledge across a wide range of dance styles, with ballet becoming a particular passion from a young age.
Her training began at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, before continuing at Urdang Academy, where she gained a Diploma in Performing Arts specialising in Dance. She then completed a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at Bird College.
Elise is also RAD qualified, holds her ARAD and is Acrotrix qualified, giving her an excellent understanding of ballet technique, dance training and acrobatics.
With several years of teaching experience, Elise is passionate about developing strong technique, musicality, performance quality and confidence in her students. She also brings valuable first-hand professional experience, having performed at leading UK dance conventions, in musicals and alongside industry professionals.
Elise is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where dancers are encouraged to work hard, develop their skills and reach their full potential. She is super excited to share her knowledge, experience and love of dance with the dancers at LCM Dance Academy!
